Indoor Practice: Spice Up Your Beginner Drills

As a young high school baseball player, I used to dread indoor baseball practice. I would have rather been playing baseball outside in the Wisconsin winter instead of being stuck in the gym. Indoor baseball practices meant waiting in line to hit 15 balls, only about half of which were actually hittable. Because of strict rules stating that players could not attend practices ran by the actual coaches during the off season, we were generally stuck with parents volunteering their time.
